JL-754 is one of two models from the Solara Special series made by Johnson guitars. this series is dedicated to the production of the solid and single-cut guitars with Les Paul design and styling. JL-754 comes with a solid basswood body and maple neck. Neck is bolted to the body and features the standard C contour in the back. Body of this model is flat on the top and features only necessary appointments, leaving all the non-essential things out of the specs list. Two-piece bridge section is installed on the top and it is fronted with a pair of open-coil humbuckers. Master volume, master tone and a three-way toggle switch comprise the controls unit. 22-fret rosewood fingerboard, 24-3/4" scale, die-cast tuners and 1-11/16" wide plastic string nut wrap the specs list.
