JS-900 is a model from the Solara Standard series made by Johnson Guitars. The entire Solara range deals with Les Paul-like single-cut guitars. Different series deal with different levels of models. For example, the Solara Special models are competing in the beginner`s category, while the Standard is aiming at the lower intermediate and intermediate ranges. JS-900 comes with a solid, single-cut body made of mahogany back and maple top. Top is carved and finished in gloss. Standard two-piece bridge is installed on the top and it is fronted with a pair of open-coil humbuckers (they have separate volume and tone knobs, as well as a three-way toggle pickup switch). 24-3/4" scale, 12" fingerboard radius, die-cast tuners, 1-11/16" plastic string nut, 22 medium frets, rosewood fingerboard and maple neck complete the specs list.
