Les Paul Special II is a metal-oriented Les Paul made by Epiphone. This spicy axe comes with a solid, single-cut body made entirely of mahogany. Top is flat and does not feature a top wood cover. Also, there`s no binding around the edges of the top. Epiphone, however, does install a pickguard, it`s flat and it matches the body color. Wine Red, Black, White, Heritage Cherry Sunburst, Vintage Sunburst and Red are color options available for this model. All are finished in high gloss. Instead of a tune-o-matic bridge, Epiphone installs a non-locking tremolo with string-through construction. 700T and 650R open coil humbuckers are installed in the front. Bolt-on mahogany neck has slim taper contour in the back and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on top.
