Hotel California is one of the most influential and popular rock songs ever and solo that Don Felder plays in it stands out as one of the brightest guitar leads ever written and recorded. To honor Mr Felder and the song, Gibson Custom makes several Les Paul models with specs as close to the original guitar, as possible. This particular model comes with a solid, single cut body made of mahogany back and plain maple top. Top panel is bound in creme and it`s finished in gloss over Felder Burst color scheme. Bridge section has a classic tune-o-matic/stoptail combo with aged chrome plating. Burstbucker pickups are installed in the front and they have split volume and tone controls. Mahogany neck is set-in and topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
