Many of the famous guitarists have played a 1959 Les Paul, as it is one of the LPs by which all others are measured. This one is dedicated to the late Michael Bloomfield. He was one of the most perspective musicians of the 1960s and '70s. He was known for his 1959 LP and this model pays a tribute to both the player and the guitar. Body is made of mahogany back and flamed maple top. Top is made of two pieces of bookmatched wood and it`s finished in high gloss. Tune-o-matic/stoptail combo in the bridge section is plated in chrome and fronted with a pair of mighty Burstbuckers. '50s contour, set-in joint and nitrocellulose finish are featured on the one-piece mahogany neck. 22 frets with trapezoid inlays rest on the rosewood fingerboard.
