Epiphone is a brand renowned for their semi-hollow bodied models for decades now, and Limited Edition ES-355 continues the tradition. This model kicks off with laminated maple body and top. White binding around the double cutaway body, arched top and "f" holes on the either side of the bridge accentuate the looks of this guitar and gives it a vintage feel. Tune-o-matic bridge is paired with vintage Bigsby vibrato tailpiece, and they are, as all of the hardware, gold plated. Two active humbuckers are manipulated through split volume and tone controls and a three-way toggle switch. Mahogany neck has a slim taper profile and a mortise and tenon joint. Bound ebony fingerboard is equipped with 22 medium jumbo frets and mother-of-pearl inlays. MSRP is set at $1165.

I recently purchased the Epiphone ES 335 Pro and it is a beautiful guitar, (mines ebony). To my ear I cannot tell the difference in the sound from this and the Gibson ES 335. Remarkable sustain and has that "fat"sound that makes a guitar just sing the blues! Its quality is just as what you would expect from the Gibson. Epihone, you guys are awesome, its a beauty to handle and listen to!!!
