Epiphone and Gibson are infusing young and fresh blood into the Signature Artist series this fall. New member is Lee Malia of Bring Me The Horizon, British pioneers in the field of metal and electronica fusion. His signature model comes as a limited edition and is situated in the Epiphone side of the series. It is a solid-bodied guitar with standard Les Paul contours and construction. Also, design-wise, it is more on the traditional side, as Lee wanted to create a timeless axe which could be picked up by any player and could play any style of music. This model is based on the beautiful 1970s Les Paul Artisan and features a set of vintage 1970s-styled decorations. Mahogany/plain maple body is bound in seven-ply black/ivory binding and has gold-plated hardware. Two-piece bridge unit on the top has the standard tune-o-matic in the front and the stoptail bar in the back. Gibson USA P-94™ Single Coil is in the neck, while the Gibson USA 84T-LM™ Humbucker is in the bridge position. Classic LP controls unit features the push/pull switch on the bridge volume knob. Mahogany neck rocks the rounded C 1959 contour in the back and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with Artisan Floral inlays on top. Standard measures include 24-3/4" scale, 1-11/16" nut and 12" radius.
