PRO-1 Explorer is a part of the awesome PRO-1 Performance Pack which is tricked out with some pretty cool and unique features. A small amp (running on 9V batteries), cables, on-board tuner, gig bag and Rocksmith system are included in the pack.
The body is scaled down a little bit while still retaining the hallmark Explorer features (including the classic pickguard). It is made entirely of mahogany (though agathis, basswood and poplar might be expected in this price range) and is completely solid (as all Epiphone Explorer bodies). Maple neck is bolted to the body and is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard. Three color options are available - Silverburst, Ebony and Alpine White.
Electronics department rocks a zebra-coiled 700T humbucker (Epiphone`s own pickup) with one volume and one tone pot. E-tuner with LED lamps is installed on the mounting ring, facing the player. Classic two-piece bridge unit, combined with a set of die-cast tuners, keeps this little rocker in tune no matter what. 24-3/4" scale, 12" radius and high quality strap buttons complete this awesome Explorer.
