Zakk Wylde is one of three signature artists with V-shaped models in Epiphone`s Flying V section. Zakk`s is the most extreme in looks and it actually differs from the classic Flying V design, as it has a pair of SG-like horns in the front. Body of this V with double cutaway is made of mahogany. It`s solid, has beveled edges and it`s flat on top. Ebony and Bullseye color schemes are available for this model. Bridge section is a very simple one, it features black tune-o-matic bridge with strings running through the body behind it. Passive EMG humbuckers from the HZ series are installed in the front of the bridge. Set maple neck is equipped with slim contour and it`s topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
