EC-1000 is EC series` top tier and it contains roughly a third of all EC series models. One of them is EC-1000 LH, a left handed variant of the regular 1000. It is offered in See Thru Black Cherry, Amber Sunburst and Vintage Black. EC-1000 LH kicks off with a solid, single-cut mahogany body with carved mahogany top. The neck is also made of mahogany (three-piece construction) and it sports the standard Thin U profile in the back. There`s also the contoured heel for maximum reach. 24-fret ebony fingerboard (w/XJ frets, flag inlays, 1.65" molded nut) tops the neck. Major hardware and electronics features include a two-piece TOM/stoptail bar bridge, EMG 81/60 pickups (Seymour DUncan JB/59 on Amber variant) and locking LTD tuners.
