LTD range for 2018 will be reinforced with a multitude of six and seven-string models, including ten EC models (EC is short for Eclipse). Among the new single-cuts, ESP/LTD also unveiled the new LTD EC-1000, the flagship model of the series. The new incarnation of the famous EC-1K will be available in See Thru Purple and See Thru Green finishes (both with black hardware, white binding, and matching headstocks). Main construction features of the new 1000 include a solid and single-cut mahogany body (w/flame maple top, white binding), a three-piece mahogany neck (w/Thin U profile, set-thru neck joint, smooth finish), a 24-fret ebony fingerboard (white binding, 24.75" scale, 1.65" string nut, 13.77" radius), a two-piece hardtail bridge, Seymour Duncan Custom-5/Jazz pickups, and LTD tuners.
