1000 models are the top of the line LTD guitars and basses, and are the pride and joy of the catalog. EC-1000/CTM DMZ is one of them, and is also one mean metal machine. It brings the crushing tone from the anniversary DiMarzio PAF humbuckers (36th anniversary pups with gold-plated covers), super smooth feel and playability of the thin U neck (set in mahogany neck) and rock solid construction (solid mahogany body). The pickups on this model are accompanied by a set of three pots - bridge volume, neck volume and a master tone. Also, there is a three-way toggle switch. Two-piece bridge unit is made up of a tune-o-matic bridge in the front and a stoptail bar in the back. 22-fret ebony fingerboard and locking LTD tuners complete the specs list.
