LTD`s 400 tier is located around the $750-$1,000 range and offers semi-professional level instruments able to handle both studio and stage duties with ease. EC series features several models in this range, including the 401 LH. EC-401 LH comes in with a solid, single-cut body made of mahogany base and mahogany top. The top is carved and bound in multi-ply binding. The only available color is white, set against black nickel hardware. The neck on this short-scaled beast is made of three pieces of mahogany and it`s glued to the body. It sports Thin U profile in the back and a standard 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on top. EC-401 LH also has a two-piece TOM/stoptail bar bridge, EMG 81/60 set of pickups and Grover tuners.
