ESP`s EX models have always been a special delicacy in guitar stores around the world. Back in the `80s and `90s they even threatened to eclipse the original Gibson Explorer. Today, ESP makes several EX models, with E-II EX being the flagship model.
ESP E-II EX is a true metal beast, loaded with only the best and finest features. Beveled Explorer body is made of mahogany wings and mahogany neck which runs through its center. The neck sports the classic ESP Thin U profile in the back and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on top (dot inlays with ESP inlay at the 12th fret, XJ frets, bone nut). ESP`s 81/60 combo is there for even the heaviest riffs and tightest grooves out there. It`s all wrapped up with a two-piece Gotoh bridge and locking Gotoh tuners.
