SV series is a close cousin of the cult ESP V series. Its roster features the asymmetrical type of the V body, similar to the iconic Jackson Randy Rhoads V style. But, unlike the RR, SV models mostly have 24-fret fingerboards. For 2016, two SV models will be introduced - one is LTD class Mille Petrozza signature (MK-600) and the other is E-II class E-II SV. It comes in Black w/White Stripes and Snow White w/Black Stripes and brings active electronics, full 25-1/2" scale and 24 frets on an ebony fingerboard.
The body of this hypnotic beauty is made of alder wings on the sides and a three-piece maple neck in the middle. the neck is fast and smooth, featuring the standard U profile in the back. On the top, the mentioned 24-fret ebony fingerboard has shark fin inlays, 1.65" locking nut and 12-" radius.
EMG`s 81/81 set, popularized by Kirk Hammett and other thrash metal virtuosos, can be found in the pickups compartment. This time, the controls unit is equipped with a master volume knob, three-way toggle switch and a boost switch. Original Floyd Rose bridge and Gotoh tuners wrap the list of the major features.
