Horizon series returns to ESP Original catalog for 2016 with some awesome new models. Among them, Horizon I is the most distinguished one. It is a solid-bodied guitar with neck-through-body construction and classic Horizon design. ESP has opted for a combination of classic/modern features for this one: passive electronics supplied by Seymour Duncan, locking bridge and a super fast neck. Dark Candy Apple Red color scheme with black hardware is the only color option available.
ESP Original Horizon I comes with alder wings and three-piece maple neck running through the center of the body. This is the ultimate solution for players who want impeccable tuning and intonation stability. Maple neck is made of three pieces of wood and perfectly balances the double-cut body. On its top, there is a 24-fret ebony fingerboard with white binding, thumbnail inlays, 1.65" nut and 12" radius.
Electronics section is equipped with a TB-6 in the bridge and SHR-1 in the neck position. These pickups bring a versatile, adaptable tone, suitable for a wide range of rock and hard rock styles. One volume knob, one tone knob and a three-way toggle pickup switch form the classic controls unit. Floyd Rose bridge and locking Gotoh tuners complete the specs list.
