JR-208 is the more affordable of two LTD signature models ESP makes for Javier Reyes of Animals as Leaders. Like all of the signature models of the 200 tier, this is a regular lower intermediate class guitar with mostly aesthetic resemblance to the rest of the series it is in. Solid and double-cut, body of this affordable eight-stringer is made of basswood (both the base and the carved top). It is paired with a bolted maple neck with the regular thin U profile. Black with glossy finish and pearloid binding is the only color scheme available for the JR-208. On the carved top, JR-208 features an eight-saddled hardtail bridge with string-through construction and chrome plating. ESP Designed LH-308 humbuckers are featured in front of it. Master volume, master tone and a three-position blade switch comprise the controls unit. Maple neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard with 24 extra jumbo frets and 2.125" wide string nut. LTD`s tuners and baritone 27" scale wrap up the specs list of this affordable eight-stringer.
