H series is one of two basic ESP lines of double-cut metal guitars. M models mainly offer flat-top guitars, while the H series guitars have carved tops. Other than that, these two series are pretty similar. They`re even brought together under the MH series banner, where construction and design features of both series are combined into even cooler axes. The H series will be updated with several new models in 2016 and H-51 is one of them. This is an opening class model with all the bare necessities of rock, plus a beautifully sculpted top.
H-51 rocks a solid and carved basswood body with a bolted maple neck. The body features a super deep cutaway which, in combination with a super-fast Thin U contour of the neck, gives an easy access to the 24h fret. Fingerboard is made of rosewood and features 1.65" molded nut, 13.77" radius and dot inlays.
ESP Designed LH-150 humbuckers are standard for the lower portions of the LTD catalog and H-51 is no exception. Master volume, master tone and a three-way switch make up the controls unit. String-through hardtail bridge and LTD die-cast tuners complete the specs list.
