ESP`s M series offers simple, straightforward metal guitars. They`re ESP`s take on the classic, flat-top Superstrat concept which exploded back in the `80s with the onset of the shred culture. To this very day, M series has remained faithful to the concept (with several carved-top exceptions). For 2016 edition of the NAMM, LTD section of the M series has received several updates. M-50NT is one of them. It comes with Black Satin paint, 25-1/2" scale, bolt-on neck construction, passive electronics and reversed headstock.
M-50NT starts off with a flat and double-cut body made of basswood. It is paired with a flat maple neck. 24-fret rosewood fingerboard covers the neck. It features extra jumbo frets (ESP and LTD standard), dot inlays with a custom 12th fret inlay, 1.65" molded nut and 13.77" radius.
Pickups section is equipped with a pair of ESP branded LH-150 humbuckers. LH-150B is in the bridge and 150N in the neck. They give a strong, high output tone geared towards heavy and thrash metal. They`re also passive and have a standard controls unit (one volume, one tone and a three-position blade switch). LTD licensed Floyd Rose bridge and LTD tuners complete the specs list.
