LTD`s 200 models cover the lower intermediate class and bring forth reliable, sturdy hardware, stock electronics, and common tonewoods. Occasionally, a fancy top or a cool piece of hardware might appear in the specs list but the main duties of these workhorse four and six-stringers remain practice and rehearsing. LTD EC-258 is one of the most affordable eight-string models in LTD catalog at the moment and it brings the cool Eclipse styling, stock electronics, long 26.5" scale, as well as stock hardware. Black Satin is the name of the only available color option. Main construction features include a solid mahogany body (back and top), a 3-piece mahogany neck w/roasted jatoba fingerboard on top, fixed LTD bridge, ESP Designed pickups, and LT tuning machines.
