LTD section of the FM series is assigned the task of production the affordable versions of the ESP FM Series models. Like the H, M, MH and HM series, FM is a line of solid and double-cut guitars based on the standard Soloist/Superstrat (RG) body shape. ESP`s models feature exceptionally aggressive tone and modern styling. FM-408 is one of the very few eight-stringers in the entire ESP catalog. It comes with a solid and double-cut body, 25-1/2" scale, 24-fret fingerboard, active electronics and neck-through-body construction. Basswood wings are glued onto the maple neck to from the body of this juggernaut. On the top, FM-408 features an eight-saddled hardtail bridge and a pair of EMG 808 pickups. 24-fret rosewood fingerboard is featured on the top of the neck.
