After the global success of the brands such as LEgator and Strandberg, the big players are slowly getting into the whole compound scale thing. Ibanez is, quite probably, the bravest one, with others timidly following in its footsteps. ESP`s 2018 catalog is the first one to include multi-scale models in the LTD range. LTD M-1007 Multiscale is one of two M series` fan fret models (the other being the eight-string version of M-1007). The color palette`s limited to See Thru Black Satin w/black binding, matching headstock, and black hardware. Main construction features include a solid lightweight mahogany body w/flame maple top, a 5-piece maple/purpleheart neck, a 24-fret Macassar ebony fingerboard (25.5-27" scale, XJ frets, 1.89" nut), a Hipshot bridge, Seymour Duncan`s Nazgul/Sentient pickups set, and LTD tuners.
