Baritone-scale (27"-30") six-string guitars are not as nearly numerous as their 25-1/2" or 24-3/4"-scale siblings, only coming into the spotlight with the advent of extreme metal genres which utilize heavily down-tuned guitars. Typically, major brands will have a small line of these, spread across the most popular series and ESP is no exception. LTD MH-400B is a brand new six-string baritone model which belongs to the intermediate class (400 models are LTD`s intermediate class) and rocks some pretty wicked features (neck-thru construction, EMG pickups, ultra-fast neck). Other notable appointments include a solid mahogany body w/maple cap, a 3-piece maple neck, a 24-fret pau ferro fingerboard, a string-thru TOM bridge, and Grover tuners.
