LTD`s catalog has a strict structure in terms of tiers and their respective roles. The lowest tier introduced thus far is 10 and it contains the most basic, beginner instruments. On the other end of the spectrum is the luxurious 1000 tier, a line of professional class instruments. 400 is second in command, containing semi-professional class models.
M-400 is M series` standard 400 model. It starts off with a flat-top mahogany body, three-piece maple neck and 24-fret rosewood fingerboard. The neck features Thin U profile and bolt-on joint in the back, while the fingerboard sports offset inlays, XJ frets and 1.69" locking nut. Black Satin is the only color option available.
Floyd Roe Special bridge, EMG pickups (81/95) and Grover tuners complete this metal beast.
