M-400M is a new model for 2016 and it will grace the proud line of LTD M guitars. M series in LTD catalog is oriented towards young metalheads who are looking for a proper and simple metal warhorse guitar, but have a limited budget. Nothing beats simplicity and ESP`s build and performance qualities in the basic LTD segment really trump much of the competition. The new M-400M is made for players who want passive electronics, maple fingerboard, locking bridge and a super slim neck. For now, ESP has made two color options available - Blue Chrome Metallic and Deep Red Metallic.
M-400M is a flat-top Superstrat guitar with a multi-part mahogany body and a three-piece maple neck. The two are connected through a classic bolt-on joint. The neck is equipped with a series` standard extra thin flat profile in the back and a 24-fret maple fingerboard on top. The fingerboard has offset abalone inlays, 1.65" locking nut and 13.77" radius.
Electronics section comes with a vintage/modern pair of Seymour Duncan pickups - TB-4 in the bridge and SH-1 in the neck. One volume knob and a three-way switch comprise the controls. Floyd Rose Special bridge with six saddles and Grover tuners make up the hardware section.
