MW-TR1 is the latest addition to Michael Wilton`s signature series. It is a bit more affordable version of his acclaimed MW-Triryche axe, also created with ESP. Despite not having a conventional numerical designation TR1 is LTD model, mostly similar to the 600 tier guitars.
MW-TR1 starts off with a solid and double-cut (ST-shaped) body with flat top and bolt-on neck joint. The body is made of alder, while the neck is made of maple. Thin U-contoured neck sports a 22-fret maple fingerboard (w/custom Tri-Ryche inlays) on top. Gloss-finished Black (w/Single Tri-Ryche graphic and chrome hardware) is the only available color option.
Important hardware and electronics features include a Floyd Rose Special bridge, Seymour Duncan Distortion/`59 pickups set and Grover tuners.
