Snapper is ESP`s version of the classic Stratocaster guitar, but with a modern twist. All of the models in the upper echelons of the Snapper line have either 22 or 24 frets, depending on the model. 21-fret fingerboards have been banished. Five new models are being introduced into the series` lineup for 2016 and Snapper AL is one of them. It is a simple, straightforward Strat guitar with bolt-on construction, three pickups and a classic tremolo bridge system. In the beginning, it will only be available in Brass Red with chrome hardware and aged plastics. Snapper AL kicks off with a double-cut and flat body made of alder (in the vein of the classic Stratocaster) and a bolt-on neck made of maple. Classic tonewoods lineup is completed with a rosewood fingerboard (22 jumbo frets, dot inlays, compound 9.5"-12" radius and 1.65" bone nut). Electronics section is equipped with a set of three passive ESP Custom Lab pickups in the classic H/S/S configuration. Master volume, master tone with push/pull switch, on-board mini-switch and five-position blade switch comprise the controls. ESP`s own Flicker-III string-through-body tremolo bridge system and locking Gotoh tuners wrap up the specs list of this exclusive Snapper.
