2016 ESP Snapper AL is available in two variants - with an ESP non-locking Flicker III tremolo bridge (regular Snapper AL) or the Floyd Rose double-locking trem system (Snapper AL FR). Other than the bridge and nut, these two feature pretty much the same set of features and specs. They`re both members of the revamped 2016 ESP Original Snapper series lineup. Besides them, three more models are offered. Among those three, only one more model features a Floyd Rose bridge. Snapper AL FR has its own recognizable color scheme - it`s chrome and aged plastics on Ice White body. Beneath the Ice White paint job, Snapper AL FR features a flat-top alder body. Hybrid-contoured maple neck (U contour at the nut, which turns into V down the neck) is bolted to the body (one of ten Stratocaster commandments) and has a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on top (jumbo-sized frets, 1.65" locking nut, compound radius and dot inlays). ESP`s Custom Lab CL-P pickups occupy all three slots (bridge, middle, neck). They`re passive and rock the standard Snapper series controls unit. Floyd Rose bridge and Gotoh tuners conclude the list of major specs.
