ESP Stream is one of many series out there which have their roots in the legendary Gibson Firebird concept. But, what sets the Stream apart and keeps it far above the clone category is a set of distinctly Stream features - 25-1/2" scale, 24-fret fingerboards, Fender-styled pickguard and set-thru instead of neck-thru construction. For 2016, ESP has prepared a trio of ESP Original Stream models, with Stream GT Classic being the series` vintage option. It comes in beautiful Supreme Blue paint with aged plastics and chrome-plated hardware. The body of this voluptuous six-string is made entirely of mahogany and is paired with a three-piece mahogany neck. 24-fret rosewood fingerboard completes the chassis (jumbo frets, 1.65" bone nut and 12" radius). Classic tonewood selection for classic appearance and tone. Seymour Duncan`s SH-18 humbuckers in bridge and neck positions deliver the classic rock tone with rich and thick low end and singing high end. Master volume, master tone and a three-way toggle switch comprise the controls. Two-piece bridge (tune-o-matic bridge and stoptail bar behind it) and Gotoh tuners round off the list of major features.
