Wolfgang Special is the budget variant for all players who want a true Eddie Van Halen guitar, but can`t fund a five, six thousand dollar guitar. Wolfgang Special is there for these enthusiasts with price tags ranging from $1,500 to $1,900. Wolfgang Special comes with Floyd Rose and fixed bridge variants. In both cases, body is solid, double-cut and made of basswood back and maple top. Standard EVH color palette is available for this model, as well. Hardware is plated in chrome and black, depending on the color. Both Floyd Rose bridge and tune-o-matic/stoptail are fronted by custom designed EVH humbuckers with zebra coil design. Bolt-on maple neck has EBMM contour in the back and a 22-fret fingerboard on top. Maple and ebony fingerboards are available.

9 All around Awesome Guitar. Only 2 flaws that I've found so far is that if the locking tremolo nuts at the headstock are not down tight, the guitar will go badly out of tune the first time you use the tremolo bar. The second flaw was the edge of All the Frets were very sharp. Both the USA and the Japan models had this same problem, I had the store send it out to have the frets filed down and all is well now. Unless you're rich, the Japan model is the way to go since it has Exactly the same parts and $1900 more for a curved body and extra bindings make no sense unless like I just said, unless "You're Rich" 9 Awesome guitar (after the Fret edges are filed down) 9 Awesome guitar (after the Fret edges are filed down)
