2013 issue of Fender catalog brings refreshed Custom Shop lineup. Fender`s Custom Shop is a place where time has a strange and beautiful habit of going backwards. Master luthiers and craftsmen of the Custom Shop wield the power of time direction and they breathe it into their guitars. This year`s Custom Collection takes the player to various corners of Fender`s history. It has 10 new models and 2013 Closet Classic Stratocaster Pro is one of them. It comes with a solid, double-cutaway body made of lightweight ash. It has no top wood covers, nor it features any type of binding around the top. Classic pickguard is installed on top of the body. Bridge section of this beautiful six-stringer is equipped with a legendary 2-point synchronized tremolo bridge with string-through construction and chrome plating. Pickups selection is a standard one for this series, as all three single coils come from the '50s Fat Strat series. They are controlled with master volume, two tone knobs and a five-position blade switch. Neck is made of maple, it`s bolted to the body and equipped with C contour in the back. Fingerboard can be made either of maple, or rosewood. Both ways, it features 22 6105-sized frets with dot inlays.
