Rustic Ash series is a complete novelty in the Fender catalog and it offers two models in it`s initial lineup. Rustic Ash Stratocaster and Telecaster models are offered through this series. This series features some unique appointments, such as anodized aluminum pickguard on both the Strat and Tele models. Also, the "no load" tone control is among the features characteristic for this series. Instead of the solid and glossy color schemes, Rustic Ash series features satin lacquer colors with grain showing through the thin coat of color. Rustic Ash Stratocaster is a solid and double-cut guitar with the modern Strat contour. It is made of ash in it`s entirety and paired with maple neck. Bridge section on this model is fit with a modern trem bridge with string-through construction and six adjustable saddles. Pickups department is equipped with a set of three Texas Special single-coil pickups. Master volume, two tone knobs and a standard five-position blade switch complete the controls. Maple neck is bolted to the body and it sports the modern C contour in the back. Satin finish is also featured on the back of the neck. 22-fret fingerboard comes in both the rosewood and maple variants.
