American Standard Series has received a Hand Stained Ash Stratocaster with H/S/H pickup configuration. This supercharged Strat comes out with a solid ash body in combination with a maple neck. Flat top, as it is tradition for Strats, it features no binding. The pickguard is there, the classic Stratocaster three-ply black-white-black pickguard. Color options include mahogany stain with maple fingerboard and wine red with rosewood fingerboard. Both options come with satin finish. The bridge on this model is a two-point synchronized tremolo with six independently adjustable saddles, string-through-body construction and chrome plating. Hand Stained Ash Stratocaster HSH features boosted pickup department. Instead of classic S/S/S configuration, Fender opted for H/S/H. It means that instead of American Standard single coils, bridge and neck positions feature Twin Head Humbucking pickups. Controls layout is a standard one, it features master volume, neck tone and middle and bridge tone. Pickup switch is a five-position blade. The neck is made of maple and features modern C contour with a four bolt joint. The back of the neck is finished in satin. Fingerboard on this model can be made either of maple or rosewood. Either way, it features 22 medium jumbo frets, dot position inlays, 9.50" radius and 1-11/16" wide synthetic bone string nut. 25-1/2" scale, chrome plated hardware and Bi-Flex truss rod system complete the specs. The MSRP for American Standard Hand Stained Ash Stratocaster HSH is set at $1,569 for both color options.
