2016 Deluxe line features only two Telecaster models, one solid-bodied and one semi-hollow. Nashville Tele is the solid one and it also features a non-standard electronics unit - it has a Strat-styled middle pickup. All pickups are single-coiled and come from the acclaimed Tex-Mex series. Bridge and neck positions are reserved for Tex-Mex Tele pickups, while the middle one is occupied by Tex-Mex Strat pickup. Master volume, master tone and five-position selector switch keep things traditionally simple and easy to use, while retaining versatility Fender is known for. The body of this augmented Tele is made of alder, Fender`s favorite body tonewood, while the neck is made of omnipresent maple. The neck features the modern C contour in the back and a four-bolt joint with micro-tilt. Top of the neck is reserved for a 21-fret fingerboard (both rosewood and maple varieties are available, regardless of the color option). Medium jumbo frets, dot inlays, 9.5" radius and 1.65" synthetic bone nut comprise the fingerboard. Hardware featured on the Nashville Tele falls within the regular and standard category. Six-saddled string-through Tele bridge and sealed Fender tuners are its main components.
