Fender`s Deluxe series is a go to place for all the players who can not afford an American Standard, but are still keen on obtaining a Fender with professional tone and playability. This goes for both the four and six-string instruments. Thus far, the Deluxe line, as a part of the "Mex" side of the catalog, featured models with 21 frets (guitars) and 20 frets (basses), but from 2016 Deluxe Series guitars will mostly have 22 frets (with a few notable exceptions). Also, iOS compatibility and hybrid Fishman electronics were introduced into the lineup, making Deluxe one of the most progressive sections of the Fender catalog. 2016 Deluxe Players Strat is a modern Stratocaster (albeit with 21 frets) with modern construction and very popular pickups choice. It kicks off with a standard ash/maple combo - with ash being used on the body and maple on the neck. The body and the neck are connected through a modern bolt-on joint. The neck rocks modern C profile in the back and a 21-fret fingerboard on top (both rosewood and maple are available with all four color options). The fingerboard has a 12" radius, 1.65" nut and medium jumbo frets, making it one of the most comfortable fingerboards in Fender catalog. Three Vintage Noiseless Single-Coil Strat pickups bring that classic/modern Strat tone we all love and cherish. Controls unit is also a standard one. Synchronized tremolo bridge and gold-plated Fender tuners complete the specs list.
