Ever since their introduction back in 1972, semi-hollow (or Thinline, how they`re officially named) Telecasters have had a dedicated following among Fender fans. After more than four decades in service, Thinline range looks and plays better than ever. Its latest update is 2016 Deluxe Tele Thinline. The new Tele is a lightweight, but heavy-sounding guitar, made with classic design and vintage/modern construction. Only two color options are available - 3-Color Sunburst (rosewood fingerboard) and Candy Apple Red (maple fingerboard). Both feature the same hardware, electronics and decorations. 2016 Deluxe Tele Thinline is a semi-hollow, single-cut guitar made of alder body and maple neck. They`re attached through an asymmetrical four-bolt joint, which is now the brand-wide standard. The body is topped with the classic "Thinline" pickguard, while the neck is topped with a 22-fret fingerboard (made either of maple or rosewood). 22 medium jumbo frets, dot inlays, 1.65" synthetic bone nut and 12" radius comprise the fingerboard. Two Vintage Noiseless Telecaster single-coil pickups form the pickups combo. Controls unit has a master volume, master tone and a four-position blade switch. Modern Tele bridge and Fender tuners complete the specs list.
