American Special Stratocaster is more affordable than it`s American Standard and American Deluxe counterparts, but is still a high quality instrument. For it`s price class, it`s one of the best guitars available on the market, with the MSRP is set at $1,249. Body of this special Strat is made of alder, it`s flat, solid and covered with a classic white plastic pickguard. Bridge section on this six-string is equipped with a classic synchronized tremolo bridge. This non-locking tremolo is among the finest in it`s class. Pickups are laid out in S/S/S pattern and are taken from the Texas Special series of pickups, spelling massive sustain, hot tone and endless fun. Maple neck sports the C contour, and has a maple fingerboard on top with 22 frets with black dot inlays.
