Cabronita Telecaster is a legendary Mexican Telecaster that gained cult following among the fans of the Tele. For the summer of 2012, an affordable variant is being introduced in an attempt to compete against the growing market of Cabronita copies. This Fender`s Cabronita comes with a solid, single cutaway body with very minimalistic design and construction. It is available in Black, White Blonde and 3-Color Sunburst. All of them are finished in polyester gloss and equipped with chrome-plated hardware. Body of this Telecaster is made of alder or ash, it depends on the color option. White Blonde is made of ash, while Black and 3-Color Sunburst are made of alder. Body is flat and unbound. Plastic pickguard comes in black and white color, depending on the color scheme chosen. Bridge on this model is a classic hardtail with string-through-body construction and chrome plating. In the pickups department Fender installs Fidelitron humbuckers in both the bridge and neck positions. They are controlled through a single volume knob and three-way toggle switch. Neck is made of maple and it is equipped with a modern variant of the Fender`s signature C contour. It is topped with a maple fingerboard. 22 frets, black dot position inlays, 9.50" radius and 1.65" wide synthetic bone nut complete the fingerboard. Other features include 25-1/2" scale length and Fender tuners.
