Vintage Modified Telecaster Deluxe is one of five models introduced by Squier as refreshments of the catalog for the summer of 2012. Squier played it smart and chose to update one of the most versatile series in it`s catalog, for Vintage Modified series caters to players who like modern tone wrapped in classic styling. Telecaster Deluxe is a dream come true for players with these preferences. Sleek white or black colors with gloss finish, classic Tele single cutaway body, chrome hardware, maple fingerboard and much, much more. Body is made of basswood, and with both color options it features a large and elegant black plastic pickguard. Traditionally, this Tele features no binding and no top wood covers. Bridge is a vintage-styled hardtail with string-through construction and chrome plating. In the pickups section Squier installs a pair of wide range humbuckers. These pickups offer fantastic versatility, from the crystal clear cleans to a thunderous roar when distorted. They are controlled through separate volume and tone knobs and a three-way toggle pickup switch. Neck on this model is made of maple and it`s equipped with a C contour. This neck is topped with a maple-made fingerboard. 21 medium jumbo frets, black dot inlays, 12" radius and 1.65" wide synthetic bone nut. This model will be featured at Squier booth at the Summer NAMM Show 2012.
