Vintage Modified is the series from Fender and Squier which encompasses two seemingly opposing concepts, the classic look of the iconic Fender guitars and modern tone suited for contemporary music. Now, It may seem a bit contradictory, but actually there are countless musicians who prefer the looks of old Fenders, but still want to play some modern and innovative style of blues and rock. Squier`s Vintage Modified section caters to the players who really ca`t spend big bucks on a guitar with Fender logo, but still want to get as close as possible. Vintage Modified Telecaster Custom comes with a classic Tele body made of basswood. Black and 3-color sunburst are two color options designated to this Tele and are both finished in gloss. Bridge on this model is a vintage-styled Tele bridge with three saddles and string-through construction. Compulsory tray encompasses the bridge single coil pickup. Neck pickup is a wide range humbucker, which is also featured on the Telecaster Deluxe from this series. Controls include split volume and tone knobs and three-way toggle pickup switch. Neck is made of maple and it features C contour. It is topped with maple fingerboard which features 21 medium jumbo frets, 9.50" radius, black dot inlays and 1.65" wide synthetic bone nut.
