Telecaster started out in 1951 and more than 60 years later Fender releases Classic '50s Telecaster model as a salute to all 1950s Teles. This one comes with a solid, single cut body made of ash, wood that was then the main option for Fender bodies. It is flat, unbound and without a top wood cover. Fender was never big on binding and top wood covers. Bridge section is a classic Tele bridge with the tray in front and three saddles. It features string-through construction and chrome plating. Pickups are installed in S/S pattern and are passive vintage Tele pickups. Master volume, master tone and three-position blade switch complete the electronics. Maple ne ck is bolted to the body and topped with a standard 21-fret maple fingerboard.
