Here we have one of the must-have guitars for all the electric guitar and rock`n`roll renegades, anti-heroes and rebels. With its short scale, unorthodox electronics and characteristic design, Jaguar is one of the most revered and cherished "underdog" guitars. It never achieved the level of fame and recognition of Strat and Tele, but through five decades of existence it has gained a cult following around the guitar world. For 2015, Fender reboots the classic Jaguar six-stringer from the sixties. Original design and styling, `60s-styled electronics and decorations and the classic Jag tone are bound to transport the players back to the era when surf rock and instrumental guitar music dominated the scene. Solid and offset body of this Jaguar is made of alder and is (of course) paired with a bolted maple neck. Adjust-o-Matic bridge with a floating tremolo tailpiece is featured on the top. Two single-coil pickups are installed in front of the two-piece bridge unit. Master volume, master tone, separate slider controls for both pickups, as well as the on/of slide switches guarantee unique playing experience. Maple neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard with 22 vintage frets, dot inlays and 7.25" radius. Set of vintage tuners on the headstock wraps up the specs list.
