Roland G-5A VG Stratocaster is a limited edition model introduced especially for the NAMM 2013 and it will be available only through a network of authorized dealers. This guitar is based upon the American Standard Stratocaster and it features Roland`s COSM technology for sound modeling. COSM ssystem offers 25 pickup and instrument patches available at the touch of a button. Vintage Strat, Vintage Tele and many other instrument tones can be emulated by this model. Also, a wide selection of Fender`s pickups can be dialed in whenever the player needs them. Besides that, G-5A VG Strat can change tuning effortlessly, also through the convenient and easy to use COSM system. Five-position blade switch and mode knob are the main controls of this system. Pickups configuration features the standard combo of three single coils and an additional pickup between the bridge and the bridge single coil pickup. Bridge is the synchronized tremolo with string-through construction. Body of this model comes with a standard double cut, it`s flat and made of alder. Plastic pickguard is featured on the top. Maple neck is bolted to the body and equipped with C contour in the back. Rosewood fingerboard on this model is equipped with 22 medium jumbo frets, dot inlays, 9.5" radius and 1.685" wide synthetic bone nut. Fender tuners and 25-1/2" scale complete the specs list.
