Monterey is a line of elegant and high quality single-cut guitars made by Fernandes. Their design is based on the age old Les Paul shape, with added distinctly Fernandes features. Models of this series are made primarily for hard rock and metal players who are searching the market to find an interesting alternative to already established Gibson/Epi LPs, Ibanez Artists and others. Fernandes Monterey Tremolo comes with a solid, single-cut body made of top grade mahogany back and quilted maple top. Top is carved and bound in several layers of binding. Instead of the standard two-piece bridge, Monterey Tremolo has a Floyd Rose bridge. It is fronted by Seymour Duncan SH-4JB and Sustainer humbuckers. Set in mahogany neck sports a 22-fret ebony fingerboard on it`s top.
