Idolmaker is a newly formed series of electric guitars under Framus banner. Inspiration for this line was drawn from Gibson`s classic Firebird design and was infused with Framus` distinctive styling. For starters, the Idolmaker line has two models on it`s roster and model simply named Idolmaker is it`s basic and standard model. It comes with a solid and double-cut body made of mahogany base and flamed maple top. This is the most common combination of tonewoods for guitars with 24-3/4" scale (excluding the beginner models, of course). Most usually, these guitars are paired with set in mahogany necks, which is the case with the amazing Idolmaker. Hardware section of this great six-stringer is fit with a two-piece unit, which consists of a tune-o-matic bridge in the front and the stoptail bar in the back. Pickups combo is made up of Seymour Duncan`s SH-11 in the bridge and Pearly Gates in the neck position. Master volume, master tone and the three-way toggle switch comprise the compact controls unit. Volume and tone pots have push-pull switches for coil splitting. Mahogany neck is fit with the series standard contour in the back and a 22-fret tigerstripe ebony fingerboard on the top.
