Mayfield Custom models are top-of-the-line semi-acoustic guitars within Framus catalog. These guitars come with some of the finest spec lists around. Mayfield Custom Mahogany`s body and neck are made entirely of mahogany. Top and back panels are laminated, while the sides are solid. Pickups combo on this model are provided by Seymour Duncan and accompanied by a regular setup of split volume and tone knobs and a three-way toggle switch. In the bridge section Framus plays it safe and installs a reliable old combo of tune-o-matic bridge with a stoptail bar. Mahogany neck features set-in joint and tigerstripe ebony fingerboard topping. 20 frets, dot inlays and 1.6535" black TUSQ string nut wrap the fingerboard. Sperzel tuners, 24-3/4" scale and chrome hardware complete the list of specs.

The Framus Pictured is a Mayfield Pro, not a Mayfield Custom. The fretboard is different and the inlays are not dots. The Dot inlays indicate the Pro.
