All-mahogany models have special places within the manufacturer`s catalogs as they bring exceptionally thick and strong tone with their vintage-styled looks of barren mahogany. Mayfield Custom Mahogany Left Handed comes with a semi-acoustic double cutaway body. It`s made entirely of mahogany. Back and top panels are laminated and the sides are solid. Tune-o-matic bridge and stoptail bar are permanent Mayfield fixtures. Dual Seymour Duncans come with split volume and tone controls and a three-way toggle switch. The neck on this model is made of mahogany and attached to the body with a set-in joint. Tigerstripe ebony is the material of choice for the fingerboard, and it contains 20 frets, dot inlays and 1.6535" wide black TUSQ nut. 24-3/4" scale and Sperzel chrome tuners complete the specs list.
