Monterey offers a unique blend of high-performance features and flashy looks. The body is made of swamp ash and it features a double cutaway with bolt-in neck joint. The top is flat and due to top graphic features no bindings or pickguards. The bridge on this model is a tremolo with string-through construction and chrome plating. Seymour Duncan provides three pickups which are installed in S/S/S pattern. Pickups are passive and feature a simple controls layout which consists of master volume, master tone and five-position blade switch. The neck on this Monterey is made of maple and connected to the body via the bolt-in joint. The fingerboard is made of rosewood and it is equipped with 22 jumbo sized frets and dot position inlays.
