Spitfire Custom represents the series flagship as it comes with some aesthetic appointments which cannot be seen on lower positioned Spitfires. This model comes with a solid, double cutaway body made of swamp ash back and flame maple top. Optionally, a quilted maple top can be ordered. The top features no bindings or pickguards, just a glossy finish. The bridge is a Wilkinson tremolo with string-through construction and chrome plating. Pickups are made and supplied by Seymour Duncan. They come in H/S/S configuration. Master volume with coil-splitting push/pull switch, master tone and five-position blade switch comprise the controls unit. The neck is made of one piece of maple and it is bolted to the body. The maple fingerboard comes with 22 jumbo sized frets covered with dot position inlays.

I have this one in a cherry red flame maple with chamberd swamp ash boby,flame maple neck.It has jumbo frets,really good for my playing styles.From a jazzy chime to an all out metal assault.The body is chamberd so weight is not a problem ,overall this is my main axe.Love my framus.
