1957 was one of the best years in history of Les Paul guitars, for it came with 1957 LP Custom, a model which is still as hot and popular as it was back in 1950s. Gibson Custom produces it in several variants and this one comes with VOS treatment and three pickups. Body of this model is solid, single cut and it`s made of mahogany back with plain maple top. Plain maple was used back in 1950s, flamed and quilt variants came later. This model features tune-o-matic and stopail bar in the bridge section. Pickups are Burstbuckers and they are controlled through separate volume and tone knobs, accompanied by a three-way toggle pickup switch. Mahogany neck has '50s contour in the back and it`s topped with a 22-fret ebony fingerboard.
